Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 21, 2026

1105 Drones collects and uses only the information reasonably needed to operate the website, manage training, maintain the Training Center, respond to inquiries, and protect our systems. This policy explains the information we collect and how we use it.

Information You Give Us

When you use a contact, class request, registration, training notification, or Briefing Room notification form, we may collect your name, agency or organization, email address, phone number, course interest, preferred location or timeframe, and information you include in a message. Do not submit sensitive case information, investigative material, medical information, or other information that should not be sent through a normal website form.

Training Center Accounts and Training Records

When you have a Training Center account, we maintain information needed to provide and administer training. This may include your name, email address, account status, class enrollments, access dates, course-resource access, assessment attempts, submitted answers, scores, remediation information, readiness information, and login or security records. Instructor accounts may also include class assignments and permission settings. Passwords are stored as one-way password hashes rather than readable passwords. Temporary passwords generated by an administrator are intended to be changed at the next sign-in.

Information Collected Automatically

Our hosting and security systems may create technical logs when you use the site. Those records may include an IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, date and time, login attempts, and technical error or security information. Public forms also use limited anti-abuse controls. Where practical, the Training Center stores one-way hashes rather than raw IP addresses for rate-limiting records.

How We Use Information

We use information to answer questions, discuss and schedule training, prepare quotes, manage public class listings and registration requests, create and administer Training Center accounts, provide course resources, score and review assessments, track training readiness, manage instructor access, maintain notification lists, troubleshoot problems, and protect the website. We do not sell or rent personal information and do not share it with outside companies for their own marketing.

How Information Is Stored

Public contact and hosting-request forms may be delivered to our business email account. Training Center accounts, class records, enrollments, assessment records, registration requests, and notification-list records are stored in the website database used by the Training Center. Course resources are stored in protected website storage and are delivered through authenticated access controls. Our hosting, email, and other service providers may process limited information while providing those services.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

The public website does not currently use third-party advertising or behavioral analytics cookies. The Training Center uses an essential session cookie so signed-in users can securely maintain a login session. Security and hosting systems may also use technical mechanisms needed to operate and protect the service.

How Long We Keep Information

General inquiries are normally kept only as long as reasonably useful for business follow-up, typically up to 24 months unless a longer period is needed. Training records, account records, assessment history, registration records, business records, tax records, or records connected to a legal or operational requirement may be kept longer. Notification-list information may be retained until you ask to be removed or the record is no longer useful. Security logs and anti-abuse records may be retained for a shorter operational period.

Service Providers and Legal Disclosures

Our website host, email provider, and other service providers may process limited information while providing infrastructure or business services. We may also disclose information when required by law, in response to a valid legal request, or when reasonably necessary to protect the website, our business, our users, or other people.

Training Records and Course Footage

Attendance records and any photos or video captured during a course are handled according to the training agreement, the host agency's rules, and any permission or release requirements that apply to that course. Contact us directly with questions about records from a specific class.

Protecting Information

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including access controls, password hashing, protected file delivery, session security, role-based permissions, and rate limiting. No website, database, email system, or online transmission can be guaranteed completely secure, so do not submit information that requires a more secure communication channel.

Your Choices

You may ask us to review or correct information associated with you, request deletion of information we are not required to keep, ask to be removed from a notification list, or request that an inactive Training Center account be reviewed. Some training, transaction, security, or legal records may need to be retained.

Children

This website is intended for public safety professionals, agencies, and adult students. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when the website, Training Center, forms, or services change. The revision date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last updated.
