Indoor flight is a different skill set from normal outdoor operations. This course builds controlled GPS-denied flight, confined-space navigation, low-light technique, and observer coordination before those skills are needed on a real call.
Public safety remote pilots who are comfortable with normal outdoor operations and need a structured introduction to controlled indoor flight. This course builds the fundamentals required to move through confined, GPS-denied spaces without relying on outdoor automation.
Day 1 builds the flight and coordination foundation. Day 2 turns those skills into hands-on stations and scenarios inside a training structure or mock building.
The host agency provides a classroom and a suitable training structure or mock building interior. Hands-on groups are organized around the available space so students get meaningful flight time instead of standing in line.
Students must hold a current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate. Aircraft and equipment requirements are confirmed before the course so the training setup matches the site and objectives.
$499 per student. Host the course at your agency and receive two free seats in addition to the seats you pay for.
